A Dash of Kindness*

Kindness is not a product of the natural sinful state of mankind. Rudeness, greed, revenge, and selfishness are the produce of a sinful nature. Lord help to allow your Spirit to produce an attitude of kindness and actions of kindness. I thank you Lord for being so kind to me. Amen.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. –Galatians 5:22-23

Lord let me practice kindness and patience with all that I meet today. My attitude of kindness and my willingness to be patience are godly characteristics that will reflect your grace and glory. Amen. Follow @pastorbarr

Love and Compassion

 As demonstrated by our Lord on the cross, love and compassion is the heart of Jesus. Lord I wish to have a loving and compassionate heart. Let my attitude towards and treatment of others be as kind and loving as your loving kindness has been to me. Amen.

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. (Psalms 111:4)
