An Independence Day Prayer.

We thank you Lord for the joy to celebrate the 4th of July. Lord, we pray for our nation and those that lead this country. We pray that there will be a return to the values and standards found in your Word; and that we will remember that it is You that has blessed us. We ask that you continue to keep your kind hand on our land and and that we as a country will honor you. Amen.

Lord I ask that you guide the leaders of our nation. May they lead righteously and according to your will. Let your Spirit intercede when mistakes are made and let your divine providential care prevail. Let us truly be one nation under God.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. (Psalms 33:12)

Pray for the USA

Lord we earnestly pray for our nation. Over history, as a nation, we have often chosen the wrong directions and have embrace wickedness instead of righteous; but because of the prayers of your people and your grace, we have been blessed. We confess our sins and ask that you intercede on our behalf. Please guide the hands of those we have chosen to lead us and help us as a nation to overcome the problems that face us. Above all else, Lord turn the hearts of the people of this land to you and let us seek to be a nation of righteousness that truly trust in you. Amen

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)  

A Labor Day Prayer

Today Lord, we pray for the workforce of our land, the wage earns and taxpayers that keep the engine of a free society moving. We ask your blessings on them and on a nation that enjoys the fruits of your kindness; because we recognize that you are source from which our riches and freedom come.  Amen.

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. 1Timothy 5:8

Election Day Prayer! Unite Our Nation

Today Lord I pray for my country and for those that You will place in leadership over this land. I pray that you will unite this blessed nation in godly wisdom and help us to solve our problems and help us stand strong against our foes. I trust that You, O Lord, will be the true leader of this land and that your divine will shall prevail. Lord unite those that have and will be elected to lead our nation behind your plan. and Let you people seek your will in prayer for our nation and all those that govern this land. Amen. Share

A Prayer for the Election of 2012

Lord, in a few days, we will be voting and choosing men and women that will represent us in governing our country, state, counties, and cities. Lord grant us wisdom in our choices and keep us in unity. Thank you Lord for the privilege to live in a land that allows us to choose those who will lead us. Ultimately we recognized that your sovereignty will prevail; and we put our trust in you to lead, provide, and protect us. Amen.
