The Awesomeness of Your Holiness

Lord teach us the awesomeness* of your holiness. Forgive us Lord for sometimes we approach you as someone common and lack the reverence that is due you. Israel  quaked at your holiness. Awaken us to your awesome holiness. Amen.

 *Note: The meaning of awesomeness is: so impressive or overwhelming as to inspire a strong feeling of admiration or fear.
