Rid me of...

Lord, your Spirit has reminded me of how easily I can let disappoint and rejection turn into anger and bitterness. I do not wish to be an angry person nor do I want bitterness

to invade my thoughts. Help me to dismiss anger and bitterness with your love and mercy. Grant the grace necessary to deal with disappoint and rejection in a positive manner. Amen. 


Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: Eph 4:31

Discouragement

Discouragement can be a real drag. It often holds me back from being who I can be and who you want me to be, Lord. Help me focus on you as the overcomer of all discouragement and please send those people into my life that will be an encouragement. Amen. Share

Discouragement

Satan wishes to discourage me. He wishes to wear me down and then destroy my character and my testimony. His demoralizing tactics can only be defeated by focusing on you Lord. Remind me Lord of you might and your presences so that I might stand strong and my character and testimony might remain untarnished. Amen.
