Lord It is often me holding myself back from all the possibilities I can be. My unbelief, my doubt in what you can and may do in my life is an obstacle -- unbelief is an instrument of defeat. Lord help me to trust you fully so that I might be an instrument of victory. Amen

Live With Confidence

Child Like Friendship/Trust

After accepting Jesus as my savior as a boy, the one of things I treasured most about the memory was the walk home from church with my new friend, Jesus. I had a pure trust in my new friend and rejoiced in the new life He had given.

My prayer today is that the Lord will renew the simple and pure trust I had in my friend, Jesus. I know He has not changed and has not left me. Lord allow me to walk with you today.

Courage

Courage is a big word that requires big character. Grant me the character to be courageous with my faith and in all decisions I make for you. Amen.


Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:7)

Help Me Too Trust You!

Trusting you, Lord, should be easy. Nevertheless, like Peter when he took his eyes off of You and focused on the storm, I often let the situations of the day distract me; and I lose my trust in You. Help me Lord to remain focused on you and to walk through life trusting You. Amen.

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works. (Psalms 73:28)
